Hot Tub Cleaning

We want you to be able to enhance your property by having a hot tub on site. We recognise that having a hot tub for a holiday let or a second home can influence the income that you receive, therefore, we offer a cleaning service for hot tubs. This includes emptying, cleaning, refilling with water, adding chemicals, then testing all levels to check they are correct.

One call to the Trevose Property Management team and we will come and assess your hot tub or spa and endeavour to get it up and running as soon as possible.

• Maintenance: Regular maintenance is essential to keep the hot tub clean and functioning correctly. This may include water testing, balancing chemicals, cleaning filters, and inspecting components for wear and tear.
• Chemical management: Balancing the chemical composition of the water is crucial for maintaining water quality and preventing bacteria growth. We provide chemical management services to ensure the water is safe and comfortable for users.
• Winterisation & seasonal services: In colder climates, hot tubs may need to be winterised to protect them from freezing temperatures. Seasonal services may also include opening the hot tub in the spring and closing it down in the fall.
• Cleaning: Regular cleaning of the hot tub shell, cover, and surrounding area helps to prevent dirt and debris buildup, maintaining the aesthetic appeal and hygiene of the hot tub.

You might also want to provide a non-slip mat for guests to step onto when exiting the hot tub, and keep a first aid kit nearby in case of any accidents.

While a hot tub is a great feature that can attract holidaymakers to your property, it also comes with potential risks. If a guest slips, falls, and injures themselves, you could be held liable. To help prevent accidents, it’s important to include a list of hot tub safety rules in your welcome pack and display them clearly near the hot tub.

• Make it clear that children and non-swimmers should never be left unattended.
• If the hot tub has a maximum capacity (e.g., four people), specify that only that number of guests should use it at once.
• Prohibit diving to avoid head injuries.
• Never use the hot tub during thunderstorms.
• Do not allow electrical appliances or glassware near the hot tub.
